If you want to allow referees to submit match results without a Tournify account, all you have to do is share a unique login link with every referee. These login links can be found on the Participants > Referees page. Please make sure the login link column is enabled from the Referee Information panel. The links will be generated only if you have created a tournament website on the Presentation page.
Upon clicking on a login link, the referee is able to enter scores for its assigned matches via the tournament website, without having to use a username or password. You’ll have to send the login links to each referee using a third party tool (like WhatsApp or email).
As a logged in tournament admin you'll be able to overrule a match result submitted by a referee. A referee is not able to update a score once it has been submitted.
By default, results can only be submitted for phases that are currently in progress. Once a phase is marked as complete (by clicking the Start button on the Results page for the next phase), submitting scores for earlier phases is no longer possible. To allow score submissions for any phase regardless of its status, go to Presentation > General Settings and uncheck the option "Teams and referees can only submit results for matches in the current phase.”
Currently, it’s not possible to enter player statistics using the login links. If player statistics are enabled, please enter scores exclusively through the tournament admin panel. Additionally, score reporting via the Android and iOS apps has been temporarily disabled. At this time, submitting scores through login links is only supported on the web platform. Updated versions of both the web and mobile apps, with full support for this functionality, will be released later this year.
