Can I embed the tournament website into my own website?

We recommend to create a button or link on your own site to forward people to the Tournify website. We don't have dedicated widgets available to include Tournify data on your own website at this time. You can try using an iFrame but we advise against doing so as this is likely to cause issues with scrolling, especially on mobile devices.

How do I generate a QR code for my tournament website?

To create a QR code for your tournament, navigate to the Presentation page, select the Website & App tab, and click on Create website link. After generating the link, the option to download a QR code will appear immediately below it.

How can I change the tournament description?

On your tournament website, you might see the message: "Nothing to share yet. Here you'll find useful information from the organizer." This placeholder appears when a tournament description has not yet been added to the Info page. To include a description, go to the Presentation page through the menu on the left side and select the Website & App tab. Then, in the Pages section, click on the Edit page button under the Info page. The tournament page is also the ideal place to include your tournament rules or regulations.

I am unable to create a website link or URL?

If you're having trouble creating a tournament website, it's likely due to the use of capital letters in the last part of the URL. Please ensure you only use lowercase letters.

I don't want to publish standings or results, is that possible?

Currently, we do not offer a feature to hide scores or results for specific divisions from the public. If you prefer not to disclose them, please refrain from entering scores. As an alternative, you can create a custom scoring system in the General > Group Ranking section that always awards no points for age groups where publishing standings is undesirable. Apply this scoring system to the appropriate groups or phases on the Format page.

Do you have an API?

We don't have a public API available at this time, unfortunately.

Can I login to the Android or iOS app?

The app does not support logging in with a username and password. For submitting scores via phone or tablet, we recommend logging into the tournament manager, as the website is fully optimized for mobile devices.

While the app lacks a general login feature, you have the option to distribute unique login links to each team or referee. This enables them to report the scores of their matches through your tournament website and the native apps.

I can't find a tournament in the app?

If you can't find a tournament in the app, it's likely because the organizer of the tournament hasn't enabled the app for this event. As an organizer, you must first activate the app via the Presentation settings. Once enabled, the tournament becomes discoverable within the app, allowing users to find it by searching for the tournament's name.

Can I send custom push notifications to players via the app?

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer the feature to send custom push notifications to players through the Android or iOS app. However, we automatically send push notifications for match reminders and to announce when a result has been submitted.

Can I hide the referees from the tournament website, slideshow and app?

Currently, it's not possible to hide referees from the public once they are assigned to matches. If you prefer not to display their real names, we recommend anonymizing the names to maintain privacy.

Can I reuse the URL from my previous tournament?

Yes, you can reuse the URL from one of your past tournaments. Simply open the previous tournament, go to the Presentation > Website & App page, and click on the public website link. Then, delete the last part of the URL that you had previously entered and click ‘save’. The same URL will now be available for your new tournament.
