Do you support triple round robin?

Groups are played in either a single or double round robin, meaning each contestant meets every other participant once or twice. There's currently no feature to increase the number of matches between teams in a group. We suggest adding an extra phase to the format to increase the number of matches.

Can teams take their points from one phase to the next?

Points are being tracked per group and can't be shared across phases or groups. All teams start a new group with zero points. You can add points to the teams in a group manually by going to the Results page and clicking on a phase from the Progress section.

How do I limit the number of matches in a group? I don't want all teams to play against all other teams.

Please create a group with all teams and use the Rounds filter on the Schedule page to only plan a specific number of match rounds.

Do you support seeded draws?

Unfortunately seeded draws are not available at this time. Please use another solution to perform the draw and then assign teams manually to the groups in Tournify.

Can I create a double elimination tournament?

We don't have double elimination brackets available. However, you could recreate the format yourself by adding multiple phases with single matches.

Is there an option to organize additional consolation matches for teams eliminated from the tournament bracket?

In a tournament bracket, you have the option to create what are known as consolation brackets, which allow teams eliminated in earlier rounds to compete against each other. This ensures that every team is guaranteed an equal number of games and ultimately receives a final ranking. To set up a consolation bracket, please first establish your main bracket. Then, click the + Bracket (5 until 8) or the + Bracket (9 until 16) button located beneath the final match of the first round to create a consolation bracket.

Can I do a cup and plate knockout?

Setting up a cup and plate bracket or tournament is straightforward. Start by creating the main (cup) bracket. Then, to accommodate teams that didn't qualify, please click the + Bracket button located beneath the main bracket to add an additional bracket for these teams.

Can I organize a doubles rotation tournament?

Unfortunately, our software does not support setting up doubles rotation tournaments, mixed doubles tournaments, or partner rotation tournaments. We understand that these formats, where players switch/change partners and play in different doubles teams throughout the tournament, are popular. We hope to provide support for this functionality in the future.
