If your event does not have referees and instead you prefer to have teams officiate matches for other teams, we offer a built-in feature to accommodate this. Go to the Participants page and open the Referees page. Now toggle the Teams as referees switch and the teams will be automatically added as referees.
To assign these referees to matches, navigate to the Schedule tab and click on the Referee (whistle) icon located in the middle of the right sidebar. Choose the number of referees for each match and click Assign. Alternatively, you have the option to manually drag and drop referees from the sidebar onto the matches. This functionality also allows you to make adjustments to an automatically generated schedule.
When your tournament format consists of multiple phases and you have teams officiating matches, it's not possible yet to assign referees for subsequent phases in which the teams are not known yet. You can't allocate referees based on earlier results.
